Supply Chain Analyst

SUMMARY The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing Supplier Performance and will eliminate wasted cost from the supply chain through continuous improvement.
This cross functional position will work with suppliers and engage them in driving improvements through shipping, packaging, order requirements and delivery issues by utilizing root cause analysis.
This position will also be responsible for building and executing our supplier scorecard program.
The successful candidate will work closely with Aurora operations, purchasing, accounting, transportation, and the suppliers to continuously improve supplier performance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for driving continuous improvement through the supplier scorecard.
Analyze data for the supplier scorecard categories and issue scorecards to all approved suppliers quarterly.
Educate suppliers on scorecard processes and criteria to help the supplier understand what it takes to be a top Aurora supplier.
Analyze supplier shipping discrepancies, and ensure all data is recorded in the Aurora Receiving Discrepancy Database.
Collaborate with suppliers to minimize the volume of their shipping discrepancies.
Work with Inbound Transportation to implement shipping policies and packaging instructions to drive cost and labor reductions and improve product quality via packaging improvements.
Understand and document supplier warranty policies.
Analyze customer warranty claims and work with suppliers to reduce our overall expenses.
Monitor Excess Inventory for return opportunities to drive positive inventory performance.
All other duties assigned as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Understanding of key supplier metrics Strong Negotiating skills required.
Attention to detail required.
Ability to work well with cross functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a high stress fast paced environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI tools is a plus.
One to Four years of Supply Chain, Business, Quality Control experience.
A four-year college degree with coursework in business, engineering, technology or equivalent education and years of service is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT Generally, works in a mixed environment.
20% in the operations monitoring inbound/outbound flow, documenting issues, and resolving discrepancies.
80% in the office, meeting with buyers, product managers, operations, and transportation management, along with supplier meetings.
Will be required to perform supplier audits.
Is exposed to warehouse on a regular basis.
Travel will be required as needed and will generally be less than 5%.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
