Role
Responsibilities:
Ensure consistency of the automation deliverables (functional specifications, control strategies, phases, and recipes, etc.
) within their areaParticipate in P&ID and control strategy reviewsAssist in defining the DeltaV software components that need to be created or modifiedCommunicate progress, issues, and needs to the Sr Area Lead for the areaDevelop functional requirements working in multidisciplinary teamsWork with system integrators to develop functional specifications Oversee process automation software development for their areaSupport creation of Parameter and Recipe Specification documentsResponding to system integrator technical queriesSupport automation software testing execution - test case preparation, problem reporting and resolution, change verificationWitness and verify the system integrator Software Factory Acceptance TestsIdentification of any remediation effort required on process control softwareCreate items in the issue tracker as issues arise after the software acceptanceIdentify and analyze risks of technical nature particular to the area and planning responsesRequirementsBS Engineering (or equivalent experience)8
years working Automation experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (preferable in API/bulk manufacturing)Previous Pharmaceutical Automation Project experience - including:
Deriving S88 physical model from P&IDsDeriving software control strategies from PFDs and related process documentsDeltaV DCS implementation exposure/experienceExceptional teamwork abilitiesStrong knowledge of GMP's, regulatory requirements and computer system validation principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesBS Engineering (or equivalent experience) 8
years working Automation experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (preferable in API/bulk manufacturing) Previous Pharmaceutical Automation Project experience - including:
