Office Manager II Primary Care - St. Vincent's (SOCH)

Office Manager II Primary Care St. Vincent's (Sisters of Charity Hospital):
Oversees and is responsible for daily practice management operations of the Primary Care site. Office manager oversees and is responsible for the day to day operations, focusing on staff relationships, customer services and financial management for the site.
Ensures standards and defined guidelines of Patient Centered Medical Home and Accountable Care Organization are met. Understands and ensures the Population Care Management strategies and guidelines are implemented in the practices.
REPORTS TO: Director Clinical of Practice Management
SUPERVISORY
Responsibilities:
All members of the clinic, including Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Medical Office Assistants (MOA), Service Representatives, Office Clerks and Medical Secretaries
SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):
EDUCATION:
Associate's Degree required.
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
In Lieu of above degree, will accept a minimum of seven (7) years of Medical Practice Management experience
Experience:
Two (2) Years Medical Practice Management/Medical Office Management experience required with degree above
Experience in CPT & ICD--10 Coding knowledge and medical terminology required.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred
Electronic Health Record experience required
Prior experience with computerized scheduling applications a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
Excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of Patient Centered Medical Home and Meaningful USE Requirements
Strong knowledge of Medical Billing
Strong knowledge of Third party Payer requirements
Ability to understand technical and operational applications in a clinical setting
Computer proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
Ability to adapt to various software applications as necessary.
Strong Verbal & Written Communication skills
