Maintenance Mechanic (SOCH)

Maintenance Mechanic €“Facilities and Engineering (Sisters of Charity Hospital): Performs routine maintenance duties (i.e. repairs, painting, etc.) on equipment and facilities within the hospital to assist in the achievement of the hospital mission.
REPORTS TO: Site Manager, Plant Operations Supervisor, and Director of Facilities/Engineering
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance Mechanic Helper (2) €“ Only basic guidance. No direct supervision
SKILL AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM):
Education High school diploma or equivalent education required
Experience
4 years building, maintenance field experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, Ability Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule form or blueprints. Computer literacy is desirable.
Communication skills and ability to relate well with other employees and other people of diverse backgrounds.
NYS Driver License

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
